Tips for mental health  and well-being

Mental health is such an underrated topic that doesn't receive a proper attention even regarding how important and life changing it is. Many people find it hard to deal with or understand which leads to an even worse mental state.
Here are 7 tips on how you can improve your mental health:

1- Stop overthinking

start seeing the situation for how it is and not how it should be .also try to observe the way you react to things and wonder if it is a result of a thinking/behavior pattern you picked up along the way . it is important for you be aware of your thoughts in order for you to change it .

2- Understand and accept your feelings

by knowing from where your feelings are coming from and it's source , you gain a better understanding of your emotions and with more answers to your questions comes a clear vision of your mental state which ultimately leads to acceptance. reaching a level of acceptance allows you to have a peaceful relationship with yourself.

3-"Nothing last forever" mentality

when you start to believe that everything must come to an end (situations,feelings,circumstances..etc) you become resilient and resistent to whatever life throws at you because deep down you rid yourself from worrying and overthinking and you become a "whatever comes comes whatever goes goes"person.

4-Invest in yourself

spending time exploring new things and gaining new skills can really boost your mental health because the process itself allows you to get to know yourself better and discover your passions and inspirations . which will help you welcome positive energy, good mood and stability into your life.

5-Observe your triggers

we all experienced trauma and a destructive period in our life  at least once that caused a serious damage to our mental health . in the future, our memory recalls this damage when faced with certain similar situations represented as "triggers". ourselves must distinguish between a true feeling and a trigger that's caused from the past in order to live in the present moment and not
 keep reviving the past.

Conclusion

Managing your mental state and mastering handling it with time gives you the ability to be the controller in all areas of your life because you have gained confidence and self-belief  throughout the process.
